Electronic signatures will not be legally binding if you don't use a Data Request. For electronic signatures to be compliant with UETA and ESIGN regulations, we need to record an audit trail, and you need to provide details about how and when the user was authenticated. (If you send the user an email with an authenticated link, then this counts as authentication.)
